Student Placement & Work Experience
Alma Street Medical is dedicated to the education and training of medical students and nurses alike. In recent years, we’ve had a number of nursing and medical students come on board for placements where they get to experience the ‘real life’ environment of a private practice.
With a focus on primary healthcare, minor day surgery and skin cancer treatment, the students who spend their placement with us get to see a wide variety of patient treatment scenarios.
Primarily shadowing our Principal and Director, Dr Matt Kritzinger, students are able to observe firsthand the complexity and sensitivity of providing exceptional healthcare to patients suffering terminal or chronic illnesses.
